Requesting a commission invoice
If you need a commission invoice from Headout for your accounts or tax filing, request one and our finance team will issue it. It takes three details about your company.
Before you start
Have these ready, exactly as they appear on your registration documents:
- Your company name.
- Your company address.
- Your company's Tax ID.
Important: These go on the invoice as you enter them. A mismatch with your registration documents can make the invoice unusable for filing, so check them before you submit.
Step 1 — Open the request form
- Click Help in the left-hand menu of Hub. This signs you into the Help Centre.
- Click Submit a request.
- Choose Finance.
Step 2 — Select the issue
Under “How can we help you?”, choose Raise a Commission Invoice.
Step 3 — Add your company details
Fill in Name of your company, Please enter your company address and Please enter the Tax ID for your company.
Add a Subject, and use Description to say which period you need the invoice for — a specific month, a quarter, or a financial year. You can attach a file at the bottom if it helps.
Click Submit. Our finance team is notified and will come back to you.
Frequently asked questions
What is a commission invoice?
An invoice from Headout for the commission we've charged on your bookings. Partners usually need it for statutory or tax purposes.
Is this the same as invoicing Headout?
No, and it's a common mix-up. A commission invoice is Headout invoicing you for commission. If you need to raise your own invoice on Headout, choose Raise Invoice with Headout instead — that asks for your invoice number and a sheet of Booking IDs with the net payable amount.
Which period should I ask for?
Say so in the Description — a month, quarter or financial year. Being specific avoids a round trip.
Can I get invoices for several months at once?
Yes. Give the full date range in the Description rather than raising a request per month.
My company details have changed.
Enter the current details on the form. If your bank account is changing too, that's a separate request — choose Update Payment Details.
How long does it take?
Our finance team picks it up and comes back to you. If you're against a filing deadline, say so in the Subject.
